How it works

Pet Portraits are done by Commission. You’ll send a primary photo that you’d like turned into a painting, along with a few other photos so I can see your pet at different angles.

After this, you’ll receive a proposal with all the relevant details including size and price options.

*Pet Portraits are done by Commission. 10% of commissioned work will be donated to an animal or environmental charity. I will offer the option of one of the charities below. They are chosen for their high ranking in financial transparency, accountability and positive impact.

Meet the artist

Stephanie Andruss Slater

While much of my older work is oil on canvas, most of my current paintings are done with gouache on high quality fine art paper. I have come to adore gouache for its versatility and quick drying ability, which allows me to create layers rich in color.
